“How to Voir Dire On Your Case as a Story”
Description: There are three things important to accomplishing the most effective attorney conducted voir dire of potential
Jurors—and none include “identifying (who you think are) your worst jurors and summarily eliminating them”. First—establishing actual, not gratuitous, rapport.
Second—creating as quickly as possible an environment of open (“mostly honest”) discussion.
Third—using targeted follow-up questioning to find out exactly which members of your prospective panel are “primed” to other-than-consciously perceive and construct in their own minds, in their own way, the elements and key frames of your most persuasive case as a story.
This hands-on workshop will provide participants the opportunity to explore all three.
