Many of these ideas were used in their $352.7 million verdict on behalf of Uly Cruz – a wingwalker who was catastrophically injured on the airport tarmac at Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston. This is the largest actual damages jury verdict for an injured worker in a contested cases in United States history (no punitive damages). The husband/wife team will talk about pre-trial discovery, voir dire, opening statements, presentation of damages, day-in-the-life videos, zoom witnesses, sequencing, closing arguments and rebuttal.
