Getting Great Juries and Big Verdicts in Small (RED) Towns - a Live Voir Dire demonstration

Mike Ponder

Mike Ponder

Seven and Eight figure verdicts in outstate jurisdictions are only possible when you pick a great jury! In this workshop, we will look at the blueprint for connecting with and empowering rural, conservative jurors to return big verdicts.

We will look at how conservatives react and think about liability and damage issues, and we will talk about specific methods to turn this thinking to our advantage.

The workshop will include discussion of successful techniques used to manage common liability issues such as comparative fault, burden of proof as well as tougher issues such as personal responsibility, and non-party liability. We will explore voir dire methods used to educate and prepare jurors to give big verdicts, and we will discuss closing arguments that bring the message home.

Participants will be encouraged to get on their feet, try the techniques discussed and make them your own!
