Jury Selection Under Pressure: How to Identify the Best and Worst Jurors Quickly

Time limitations on voir dire are becoming more common. Ron Bone will teach you how to quickly identify the jurors that will keep their minds open to the possibility of a verdict in your client’s favor, versus those that will not. Participants will practice the critical skills needed to pick a winning jury under time limitations. We will work on:
- How to quickly get the panel to communicate with you
- Cutting the time-wasting chaff that is not critical to understanding each juror
- Efficient use of group vs individual questioning
- What your team should be doing while you communicate with the panel
- Using biased jurors to help smoke out jurors that will kill your case in deliberations
- Maximizing challenges for cause
