Connecticut lifer.I was born in Connecticut, did all of my schooling here, grew my family here (my husband Brendon, our son Wes, and our crazy vizsla Ruby), found some awesome colleagues who share my passion for trial work (shoutout to Claggett, Sykes, & Garza, LLC), and in 2022, made history here.
In 2022 I was part of the trial team that obtained the largest personal injury verdict in Connecticut history – 100 million dollars.Of that, 10 million dollars was allocated to our paralyzed client’s wife for her loss of consortium claim, which I was lead counsel on.Working with Emily, pulling her out of the shadows of her husband’s injury so that she could be seen and heard, and ultimately getting her justice, is a tremendous point of pride for me.
My husband and I own the most energic dog on the planet, so when I’m not working, I am usually trying to tire her out with a hike or run or I’m chasing my 17-month-old around (neither one lets me sit down much).I have perfected rollerblading, while holding a leash and pushing a stroller.I love a good cup of coffee, yoga, and reading, preferably at the beach.
