I am the middle child raised in the Boston area by a mother who had been raised a strict Irish Catholic, and a father who had been raised as an Orthodox Jew. From a very young age I was taught that hard work and an education were the two best tools I could have in life. I worked hard enough on the field hockey field and in the classroom to get a scholarship to Northwestern University. I went home to Boston after graduating to attend a local law school. While in law school I worked as a law clerk focusing on medical malpractice and have never looked back. My husband, Adam, and daughter, Charlie, live in the suburbs of Boston. We are avid skiers and golfers. I fancy myself quite good at the former, but not so much at the latter, but believe we are all works in progress across all facets of life no matter the starting point.
