John Kawai

I was born in Ohio and grew up in Fullerton, California. I grew up playing 8-bit computer games and having adventures with friends on the trails around our neighborhood. I liked grunge and alternative music in high school. When I went to college I thought I'd become a medical doctor, but chemistry class convinced me I was better suited for something else, and I ended up changing my major to philosophy, after which I went to law school. I knew that personal injury law was for me because my mom, who was a doctor, did expert witness work, and before law school I assisted her putting together life care plans, sometimes meeting with patients and watching civil trials. Today I work with Nick and Courtney Rowley as a lawyer licensed in California, Washington, Nevada, and Hawaii. I'm picking up skiing, but in my free time I like walking and riding my bike, puzzles, history, and movies.
