Shaurya Jain is a Venture Capitalist and Tech founder based in Los Angeles. He started his career as a software engineer at Google in 2015. After Google, Shaurya began researching opportunities to enter the market which resulted in the genesis of his consumer social startup, Teleparty (formerly known as Netflix Party), which made it easy to watch TV or Netflix with your friends and family. During the pandemic, Teleparty experienced a surge in growth by nearly 30x and was downloaded by over 20 million users and continuing. In 2020, Shaurya began assisting his parents with their family office and private foundation, focusing on private investments along with private debt financing. Since then Shaurya has created a successful portfolio of Venture Capital and Real Estate investments. Shaurya and his family are also highly respected philanthropists within the South Asian community and the founders of Southern California’s first Indian Community Center. Shaurya earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from The Wharton School and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from University of Pennsylvania.
