I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, the youngest of five children. My father was a general surgeon and would often take me with him to round on patients on the weekends when I was out of school. I went to Virginia Military Institute, and upon graduation, received my commission in the Army.
After law school at Mercer University, I entered active duty and served in the Army JAG Corps for 4 years. I left the Army after my tour, and began my “civilian” life as an insurance defense lawyer defending hospitals and doctors.
In 1999, I started my law firm – Bell Law Firm - first as a general personal injury practice that evolved into a specialized medical malpractice and catastrophic injury firm.
I enjoy time with my three children, working out, running, and playing chess and ping pong.
