I was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri to a family of lawyers. After growing up in a courtroom watching my dad and grandfather try cases on behalf of injured plaintiffs, from the age of five-on, my answer when asked what I wanted to be when I grew up was always the same – a trial attorney. After law school at Duke, despite only knowing a handful of folks out on the West Coast, I packed my bags and moved out to Los Angeles to pursue a legal career in the most exciting legal market in the U.S. (and catch some sun while doing it).
Prior to joining Panish |Shea | Ravipudi LLP, I worked at international law firm Kirkland & Ellis, where I specialized in multidistrict products liability litigation. After my stint on the dark side of the bar, I joined the firm in January 2022, and haven’t looked back.
I now live in Marina Del Rey with my girlfriend Alex. In my free time, you’ll find me knocking down doors trying to find good barbecue in Los Angeles to get a taste of home (if you haven’t tried it, Kansas City BBQ is world-famous). I also enjoy hiking, live music, and reading spy novels, and have recently taken up surfing and skiing though both remain works in progress.
