I am a first-generation Mexican American, born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Growing up in Los Angeles, we lived in the Pico-Union neighborhood which was exclusively newly immigrated families from Mexico and Central America. We grew up speaking Spanish at home and, luckily, I was able to maintain the fluency into adulthood. Being Mexican American and fluent in Spanish really allows me to connect with my Spanish-speaking clients. When telling their story, I can understand how the injuries can also affect their cultural and familial dynamic. When I was a junior in high school, I found my first full-time job waiting tables at a local restaurant and have
been employed ever since. During my college (UCLA) and law school (Loyola Law evening program) career I worked full-time which I believe really helped me build up stamina for litigation. When I started working at Panish | Shea | Ravipudi LLP in 2011, I was hired as the 12th lawyer in the firm and have seen the firm grow exponentially over the years, now with over 40 lawyers. I am a partner at the firm and licensed in both California and Nevada. I travel between both states often.
