Since I was young, I've always been drawn to the underdog. Happenstance or destiny then led me to the fight for justice as a
Plaintiff's trial lawyer. Specializing in catastrophic injury and death cases, I’ve made it my life’s work to take on the
Goliaths of the world and get maximum justice for the underdogs. But my story goes beyond the courtroom—it's a blend of
relentless determination, creative passion, and a commitment to giving back.
I didn't come from privilege, far from it. I put myself through USC and Southwestern Law School, working nearly full-time for a solo practitioner while in school. When I started my own firm, I had no mentor, no money, and no cases. But what I did have was an unshakable belief in justice and a work ethic that wouldn’t quit. From handling minor traffic cases, I’ve built a career focused on taking on the most complex and challenging cases—the kind other attorneys shy away from.
My firm has secured over $1 billion in verdicts and settlements, and we thrive on the cases that others might deem impossible. A few of our most recent victories include:
These aren't just numbers—they're stories of justice being served, of lives being transformed, and of holding powerful entities accountable.
While I've been fortunate to receive recognition for my legal work—including ranking in the top 10 of Super Lawyers for Southern California, being named a Titan of the Plaintiffs Bar by Law360, and one of the Top 100 Lawyers in California by the Los Angeles Daily Journal—what I’m most proud of is the impact I have beyond the courtroom. Whether it’s successfully arguing appellate cases before the California Supreme Court or mentoring the next generation of lawyers, I’m committed to elevating others and making a difference.
Outside of law, my passion for music has been a defining part of my life. As a DJ and music producer under the name The Archer, I’ve found a way to connect with people on a deeper level, not just through beats, but through shared experiences. Running my record labels, There Is A Light and Octopus, gives me the chance to champion new artists and push boundaries in the house and techno music scenes. Music is not only my creative outlet but also a way to challenge the norm, inspire others, and stay grounded in my own journey.
Philanthropy is another way I give back. Through the There is a Light Foundation, I help individuals with financial grants to get to the next level in their lives. Whether in law, music, or philanthropy, I believe in the power of paying it forward and lifting others up.
For me, it’s never just been about being a lawyer or a DJ. It's about using every platform I have to make an impact, whether that's fighting for justice, creating music that moves people, or helping someone achieve their dreams. Every day, I wake up ready to challenge the status quo, fight for the underdog, and prove that with enough passion and determination, we can change the world—one case, one track, one life at a time.
